Plasma Rich Growth Factors
Modern surgeries have advanced tremendously when it comes to personalized minimal-invasive treatments, with a high rate of clinical healing which is used for the regeneration of tissues. One of the leading approaches to delivering endogenous plasma- and platelet-derived growth factors would be plasma rich in growth factors (PRGF).
Plasma Rich in Growth Factors (PRGF) is a blood product that contains concentrated levels of a patient’s own growth factors. Growth factors are signaling molecules that tell stem cells in the body to differentiate into different cells such as bone and tissue. They are responsible for managing how the body heals. This Increases the concentration of growth factors at a healing site wound which then not only does it increase the speed of healing, but can increase the quality and quantity of new bone and tissue.
